- Although he is British, David Ayeni aka D’Amadeus was born in Lagos-Nigeria.He became a famous entertainer from his first year in high school until he graduated. As a singer/song writer he became famous in school and also in several churches. Even as a teenager D’Amadeus’ soulful voice and charisma at several live performances made him the charm of many admirers. He went on to form "The Bishops", a very famous gospel quartet that toured Nigeria. When the group grew apart D’Amadeus continued as a solo artist with his unique musical expression until he moved to London in 2001. He spent few years in London working in the media industry. Mastering skills in roles such as Graphic Designer, Video Editor, 3D Animator and Multimedia Consultant, he finally decided to return to his first love of singing and song writing. He moved to America in early 2007 in pursuit of his dream as an artist and now resides in New Jersey. With his melodious Pop/Rock, D’Amadeus captures the heart of his listeners with tender words of love. His narrative of the subject captures the realities of the soul. In a world where love is abused, he reminds us of its charm, value and meaning.
